Orthopaedic doctors specialize in treating disorders and problems afflicting the musculoskeletal system. Bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and nerves are all included in this system and are crucial to most movement and activity.
In caring for you, our orthopaedic doctors use a variety of surgical and non-surgical approaches to treat your problems and help you get back to your normal activities. Depending on your individual condition and needs, our doctors will create a unique treatment plan to help you reach your goals. Although surgery is necessary in some situations, using medication, exercise and rehabilitation techniques is often enough.
The doctors at New Mexico Orthopaedics are all very highly trained and dedicated to helping their patients. Each physician at our clinic has completed 4 years of medical school and 5 years of residency training in orthopaedics beyond their undergraduate studies. On top of this, most of our physicians have also done an additional year of fellowship training in the subspecialty of their choice.
