New Mexico Orthopaedics is proud to be a leader in medical care in the Southwest. Our team of specialists realize that an integral part of providing quality treatment is to ensure quick and complete access to our patient's medical records. In that effort, NMOA has chosen to take the lead by becoming one of the first practices in the state to develop a comprehensive electronic health record, well ahead of the national deadline of 2014. All patient charts at New Mexico Orthopaedics have been converted to an electronic format and are readily accessible for our providers to review in a timely fashion, from anywhere in the world.
Convenient access to patient information 24/7 gives each provider comprehensive information to aid in their decision-making processes. Electronic charts also work to improve communications between multiple providers and ultimately with the patients. Our electronic system also allows us to directly prescribe to each patient's pharmacy of choice, reducing errors and helping our patients to save time. If you need documents from your charts or have questions, our on-site medical records department is open to patients from 9am - 4pm Monday through Friday, and can be reached via telephone at (505) 724-3206.
