Dr. Anthony Pachelli, a long-time New Mexico resident, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon whose practice focuses on arthroscopy and sports medicine.  He strives to provide the highest quality of care, respecting the dignity and individual needs of each patient. 

 

Dr. Pachelli is personally vested in the health and well-being of the whole person.  To that end, he and his staff are dedicated to making the entire patient experience as pleasant as possible.  Dr. Pachelli enjoys working in orthopaedics as many problems are correctable and the sub-specialties of arthroscopy and sports medicine hold a particular fascination for him.

 

Dr. Pachelli specializes in arthroscopic and reconstructive procedures of the shoulder and knee and regularly participates at national meetings as an instructor in those areas.  On several occasions, Dr. Pachelli has also served as a team physician for the United States Ski Team.

 

Dr. Pachelli joined New Mexico Orthopaedics in 1992, and has served as Medical Director of the New Mexico Orthopaedic Surgery Center since its inception in 1999. He is also the Medical Director of the New Mexico Orthopaedics Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Fellowship.

 

Dr. Pachelli encourages others to reap the benefits and fulfillment that sports participation and an active lifestyle can bring and lives according to his own advice.  He is an avid cyclist and enjoys skiing during the winter months.
