Dr. Matthew Patton specializes in the treatment and surgical correction of common and complex hand and elbow problems – from endoscopic carpal tunnel release to total elbow replacement; from pediatric congenital hand problems to rheumatoid joint replacement.
Dr. Patton was drawn to the art of hand surgery and finds the intricate detail-work and depth of thought necessary to provide care in this complex specialty a rewarding challenge.
Dr. Patton believes that delivering patient education and treatment options in a straight-forward and understandable manner is important to allowing each patient to make good decisions regarding his or her own care. He is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico and is also fluent in Spanish.
Away from the office, Dr. Patton is very involved with his wife and children. He is active in outdoor sports, especially cycling, mountain biking, motocross, skiing and overall fitness.
