Dr. Michael Archibeck, a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, is an attending surgeon at the New Mexico Center for Joint Replacement Surgery, one of the Centers of Excellence at New Mexico Orthopaedics.  His specific areas of interest and expertise include both primary and revision total hip and knee replacement, unicompartmental knee replacements, hip fractures and minimally invasive solutions to hip and knee replacements.  He finds working in this subspecialty to be extremely rewarding as his patients experience a new lease on life with pain relief and return of function.

 

Dr. Archibeck dedicates himself to delivering the highest quality of care and service.  He maintains a personal commitment to his patients to care for them in a compassionate, professional and efficient manner while addressing each concern.  Being responsive to individual needs and providing state of the art care is the cornerstone of Dr. Archibeck’s practice.

 

The New Mexico Center for Joint Replacement Surgery is proud to have Dr. Archibeck actively involved in its many research projects.  He has been involved in the publication of many books and scientific articles. Dr. Archibeck has also given multiple presentations on joint replacement at national and international meetings.

Dr. Archibeck considers his wife and four daughters to be a source of great fulfillment and joy in his life.  Each being a part of a large family, both he and his wife are proud to have instilled the importance of family and its influence on their children.  Dr. Archibeck also enjoys cycling and has been training and racing competitively on roads and trails for several years.
