Dr. Reyna is a Board Certified, Fellowship-trained Spine Surgeon. He specializes in the surgical treatment of complex cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine problems including degenerative disc disease, spine deformities, spinal tumors, spinal infections, and scoliosis.

Dr. Reyna completed his spine fellowship at the University of Southern California. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of New Mexico and received his medical degree from the University of California at San Diego.

Dr. Reyna is fluent in Spanish and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, a member of the American Medical Association, the New Mexico Medical Society, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. While he has practiced in California and Texas, he spent most of his career serving as an attending physician at the University of New Mexico. During his time at the University of New Mexico, he cared for patients with a wide variety of spinal disorders and from many different walks of life. From the skull to the pelvis, he performed surgery on whoever needed help, from the homeless to former Olympians. His goal is to provide excellent care to the people of New Mexico.

Away from the office, Dr. Reyna enjoys racquetball and photography. He is married and has three children.
