For a minor fracture, on-the-job injury or other orthopedic problem, going to the emergency room is probably not the best option. The wait can be lengthy, and the cost is typically expensive. The truth is that emergency rooms are the best place for serious emergencies.

We have an option that can provide quicker care at less cost than an emergency room.

The Quick Care Center at New Mexico Orthopaedics provides fast care of joint injuries, bone problems, sprains and strains, and other types of musculoskeletal pain all without the wait and high cost of an emergency room.

The Quick Care Center is a dedicated urgent orthopedic care unit within New Mexico Orthopaedics' Comprehensive Care Center at Presbyterian Hospital designed to meet the needs of the non-emergent orthopedic patients. We provide to you the area's best orthopedic physicians and sports medicine experts.

By getting you in faster, we hope to speed your recovery from injury, and get you back to activity, or back on the job, as quickly as possible.

Under one roof, we provide all physician care, as well as:

  • Clinic with access to four surgery suites

  • Complete diagnostic and MRI facilities

  • On-site physical therapy/rehabilitation

We have made it easy! When you need urgent orthopedic care, just call or fax us. You will be seen by an orthopedic surgeon and get the treatment you need quickly and efficiently - in most cases, much more quickly than in an emergency room.
